Some people have normal hobbies eg. collecting coins, stamps, random junk, etc? What do I do, track the quality of the power coming into Guru HQ of course?
The last 2 days with the spike in demand for power eg AC compressors, fan motors, etc. the boost on my rack UPS has been kicking on & off which correlates with energy draw on the grid. If you don't have at least basic surge protection put this in your carts. $30 for a good surge suppressor is alot cheaper than a new TV or computer!
If you have some extra cash then I would recommend going all out and purchasing a UPS instead which also offers protection from brownouts!
